What is a Supper Club?
Supper clubs were extremely common during the Roman Empire here in York and since the 1930’s have surged in popularity across the globe.
Our private club can have up to 28 guests with events at various times during the year, usually providing complimentary wine and pairing. The Chefs follow the Slow food principles (local, seasonal & fresh) to create exquisite blind menus that complement the various themes for each event and usually have a link to a charity.
As an example, we have an ‘Over Fire’ event, where the kitchen uses no gas or electricity, simply the wood fired oven, grill and seated firepit with cooking tripod. Our open kitchen allows guests a clear view of the action that unfolds in the kitchen with our amazing chefs.
